Aug. 8 (Bloomberg) -- Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said ``war has started'' in the breakaway Georgian region of South Ossetia. Georgia accused Russia of ``a well-planned invasion'' and appealed to world leaders for mediation.
Bonds caught a bid and oil is back above 118. Awaiting productivity at 8:30.
