Noon update:
Shorts go nowhere (for now) and the DOW is back above 14K. No gap closes, they took it up before as NQ 2064 held. AD lines are supportive, but the Trin is at 1.04 and financials are still down. The SOX is back in the green. Bulls need the DOW to close above 14K today, or bears will start attacking next week.
Just as I type, they sold a spike to earlier highs without taking them out. Right back down at ES 1561.75. That number is a magnet it seems. Bulls would be back in trouble on another VIX run up to 15.60.
Note: MSFT reports after the close (just tagged 2006 highs at 31.50).
